Bramble met her new friend, Luna today! Luna’s human slave is theelderlycactus so I’m sure they will have many playdates together. She reminds us a lot of Harriet which was a little bittersweet, but she is much more outgoing.

Sad news everyone. I came to let Harriet out for a run last night and found her passed away in her little igloo, quite mysteriously.I initially believed Harriet was starting to come around socially (she had always been very shy) the month or so before her passing. It is clear to me now that this was just the expression of a common but strange phenomenon of beings exhibiting a sudden burst of energy before they die. Harriet was only 2 and 1/2 which may or may not be correct. My friend and I had adopted her from a couple who bought her from a pet store, and pet stores are notorious for stocking animals from bad lineage and not knowing the proper information about their pets. Albinos are also known to be less hardy than their counterparts, so that couldn’t have helped. We did not see Harriet’s death coming, and it was a bit of a shock. However, Davey and I are glad we were able to enjoy her for the short time that we could. She may have been very shy, but she was a cuddlebug and always loved a good soak in the bath. Rest in peace little hoglet 💜
