Sniffy sniffy little girl!!!
Romeo has arrived!!!! After I cleaned him all up, I put him in his new 20 gallon mansion. I thought he’d want to rest but he was really curious about his new surroundings so I let him explore for a bit. Finally he was content to retire to his new log house and take a rest.
Bow down to baby Twix.
So this happened.
1. Boesemani Rainbowfish showing off his pretty scales.
2. Moby the blue gourami being his usual derpy self.
3. A blue rainbowfish also showing off.
4. A yellow platy platying.
5. An orange platy and a Boesemani rainbowfish being all suspicious of the camera.
Welcome new followers 😘
I think today I might retake that cute picture of Twix wearing a bow with the GOOD camera…so keep an eye out👀
Another thing: my leopard gecko, Romeo, is being driven home from Ontario to come live with me here. He’s “special needs” and my parents are finding it hard to care for him properly.
The main reason for this is because he has awful vision. He has trouble catching his food so he really needs to be monitored while he’s eating. He also tends to mistake fingers for food, especially when he’s very hungry (which is often), leading to a lot of bitten fingers.
Because of this, it’s difficult to help him with his shedding, clean his cage and do anything that involves picking him up.
I think if he is handled more, he’ll begin to recognize the difference so I’m accepting it as a challenge! 🙅
Not only this, but he’s ugly, with a wild caught phenotype and a regrown tail complete with an extra stub. And he’s at least 15 years old. 👴
So yes, he’s my special boy. But we’re gonna show him some love, right?
PS, can you tell I like emojis??? 👍
Peekaboo, Twiggy sees you!
lightupwrists is a gem and lent me her badass camera for awhile. Here is the obligatory high def picture of Gus. While your at it, check out her blog; she’s rad.
